Mind-Blowing WandaVision Theory

After the last few episodes dropped on the wildly popular Disney+ series, WandaVision has given a lot of Marvel fans some restless nights. All over the internet you can find countless theories about characters, metaphorical connections, and even on who really is behind the anomaly in Westview. One TikTok video featuring a pretty convincing theory stood out to me above all the rest. That video was created by LadyDameron.

Bella’s theory suggests that the overly suspicious Hayward could be Ultron in disguise. Given the likes of her research, this could be totally possible. In the comics, Ultron has had an array of upgrades that come with an abundance of new powers and abilities. Just like in that episode in the animated series Avengers Assemble that Bella references, Ultron could be using his technoforming ability to hide in plain site. Meaning that Ultron could’ve had the time to evolve since his last appearance and “demise” in Avengers: Age of Ultron. We never truly see Ultron’s suggested death at the end of the film. We only see that blast of light from Vision’s mind stone, as seen in the TikTok, leading the audience to assume Vision took care of the problem. However, with Ultron’s history in the comics he is almost impossible to destroy as he has no real significant weaknesses. In the MCU, Ultron is voiced by James Spader who has been seen in the unofficial cast list for WandaVision on google. Fans were speculating the return of Pietro/Peter Maximoff the same way as Evan Peters also appeared on that cast list. As we all know, his appearance later turned out to be true. With this kind of track record, it only adds more fuel to this theory’s fire.

With more viewers catching on, and no response from cast, fans have been running wild with this theory. Although the MCU Ultron and the Marvel Comics Ultron are vastly different, they still have enough similarities for fans to rely on. With only three episodes left in the series, I am sure WandaVision will reveal who it’s big baddie is soon before the season finale.

Let me know what you think about this theory and who you think is behind the anomally in Westview!
